At this year's UNIKAT summer festival, Clara received the "Early Career Researcher Award - Exploring New Frontiers" from the University Foundation, presented for the first time as part of the University’s 50th anniversary. The prize award will allow the kick-start of a project to study the formation and breakdown of toxic cyanobacterial blooms at the single-cell level, with the aim to providing new insights into how harmful algal blooms develop and decay.
We are very excited to extend this line of work at the Limno Station, including potential MSc projects for the upcoming 2026 summer semester. Interested students are encouraged to get in touch!
